Getting to Tulum
-
Do I need a passport?
Yes!
USPSA valid passport is required to travel to Tulum, Mexico. Keep in mind it can take up to 3 months to receive your passport. If your passport is expiring within 6 months of the wedding, you will need to have it renewed in order to leave the country.
This 4-minute video walks you through the application process (with links in the description) step-by-step. If you don’t need the tutorial, get started on a new or renewed passport at USPS.

What airport should I arrive to? When should I book by flight?
Cancun International Airport (CUN), which is about 1.5 hours away from Tulum. We’ll be arranging transportation for guests who arrive on Thursday the 18th and leave on Monday the 22nd.
We strongly suggest buying flights and booking at Hotel Panamera before the end of October ‘23. You can track flights from your specific city on Google Flights to find the most economical route. There are direct flights to Cancun from most major US cities. -
When should I arrive in Tulum?
If you would like to join us for the entirety of the wedding weekend, reserve Thursday April 18th - Monday April 22nd on your calendars.
We recommend arriving in Tulum Thursday morning or afternoon and flying home on Monday morning. Feel free to stay longer or arrive earlier to extend your vacation. -
Will transportation be provided to and from the airport?
Yes!
Our wedding planner will arrange shuttle transportation to/from the airport. Make sure to RSVP and book your flight. We’ll reach out to coordinate transportation in the next few months.
Where to stay
-
Is there a hotel block? Should I stay at Hotel Panamera?
We highly encourage all of our guests stay with us at Hotel Panamera. We have a great discounted rate, with a range of prices starting at $210 a night, taxes/fees included.
Panamera is a chic boutique hotel with 2 large signature pools, a sunset rooftop lounge, open air restaurant, and beach club on the ocean. The hotel is divided into a few sections—Panamera I is the original hotel with 14 rooms, the recently opened Panamera II has 21 rooms, plus 5 ocean front cabañas. -
Is Tulum safe?
Yes, with increased police presence and protection, travelers in Tulum can rest assured that they are safe. The Mexican government has increased its commitment in Tulum.
Most of the week’s events will be held at Hotel Panamera, so you’ll be surrounded by familiar faces all weekend and transportation to the hotel and events will be provided.
